Human travel to Mars is technically possible, but it is a very challenging and complex endeavor. There are many technical, logistical, and financial obstacles that must be overcome in order to make it a reality.
Currently, NASA and SpaceX are working on sending humans to Mars in the future. NASA’s Artemis program aims to land the first woman and next man on the lunar south pole by 2024 and establish a sustainable presence on the Moon by the end of the decade, through this program NASA is developing the technologies and capabilities needed to eventually send humans to Mars. SpaceX, on the other hand, plans to send its Starship spacecraft to Mars as soon as 2024.
However, it is important to note that human missions to Mars will require significant advancements in technology and infrastructure, as well as significant funding. Additionally, the journey to Mars takes several months and expose the crew to high levels of radiation, which could have long-term health effects.
